Oncomine users can find many helpful resources directly from within the application. The help tab contains links to online help and the Oncomine Support Community, which enables users to search for release notes, quick start guides, webinars and more as well as ask questions and share ideas.
FORMAL TRAINING
Our formal training program offers Oncomine Concepts Edition and Oncomine Enterprise Edition users detailed and comprehensive training. This training is available on site or as webinar-style training for up to 12 attendees. We also offer one-on-one training on site or via the web. Custom training is also available to focus on specific needs for your organization.

AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
The support community has a wealth of user generated information through questions and ideas.
Additionally, it hosts all application and data release information such as release notes, change logs and data newsletters.
Finally, it holds all of the quick start guides, white papers, and flash demos.
TRAINING CURRICULUM
Module 1: Introduction to Oncomine
Investigate a gene’s over-expression in a cancer type using the Oncomine 4 interface, Filter Tree and other useful features.
By the end of the module you will understand how to:
Search for a single gene or multiple genes
Add filters to narrow your search results
Become familiar with the most common filters in the Filter Tree
Perform a meta-analysis across multiple independent analyses
Module 2: Target Identification and Validation
Use the knowledge acquired in the previous training module to discover novel targets and validate a gene’s over-expression in cancer.
Using the Filter Tree, Gene Summary and Associated Concepts, you will learn how to:
Identify gene targets
Perform a meta-analysis to validate your finding
Validate personal findings
Discover important biological associations
Module 3: Pathway and Drug Discovery
The final module will guide you through an in depth look at a drug sensitivity signature.
At the end of the workflows you will be confident in:
Validating perturbation signatures
Exporting gene lists
Uploading to My Concepts, your own unique Concept
Identifying biomarkers that define a subset of drug sensitive cancers
