Oncomine 4 Research Edition is now available!
From the Oncomine interface to the structure of the underlying data, Compendia Bioscience has spent the last two years developing a new Oncomine to enable you to conduct your research more effectively. Key improvements include a simplified interface, better searching and filtering, more consistent sample facts and analyses, and improved summarization. In addition, we’ve added data from more than 100 new cancer genomic studies!
The Oncomine interface has been redesigned to allow you to search and browse data, evaluate and prioritize results, and visualize specific data all within one screen.

What Can You Do with Oncomine 4?
- Identify cancer types and subtypes that most over-express a gene of interest across >30,000 clinical cancer specimens.
- Search >1,000 cancer cell lines for over-expression of your gene.
- Examine other genes co-expressed with your gene of interest.
- Query a gene signature across thousands of other gene signatures to identify tumor populations with signature activation.
- Find genes frequently amplified or deleted in tumors.
- Examine your gene across normal tissue panels.
- Perform meta-analyses to identify genes most consistently activated in subsets of tumors.
Things You Need to Know
- Any custom filters available in Oncomine 3.6 will not be transferred to Oncomine 4.
- Your username and password will apply in Oncomine 4.
